Owl Card Holder Pouch

My friend lent me her membership cards for our trip to Taiwan. The worn out ziplock bag used to keep the cards finally tore under my hands. So I made a cardholder pouch to replace it, and of course, it was also my way of thanking her for the cards. :)

I used whatever I had in my stash - an owl prints fabric and brown zip. I love making pouches!

How I love the wind today!

Last night I laid out almost all my fabrics on the floor to do a mix & match. My prayers that TK wouldn't enter the room wasn't answered. He went "so, is this the stash of fabrics you don't want me to see?". hahah. Love this cheeky chap.

I need and want more!!!

Today's mission was to sew a lined zippered pouch!

Completed under 2 hours (including crawling cutting time)..

Now, I need to more zips, in all colours!

Wedding Gifts

As for the gift, Mashimaro (his love!) bedroom slippers! =)

brought it all the way back to Singapore from Bangkok in Mar. XD

Flyer Holder

Our letterbox is locked to prevent people from distributing pamphlets. In fact, most Singaporeans do that. So the advertising companies hired people to distribute pamphlets from door to door, daily. This is how it usually looks like:

 

It irritates us cause it usually drops onto the floor. When this happens, we pray that we will get to it before the rain, else we have to clear the mess!

To solve our problems, I made this Flyer Holder for the distributors to slot in the pamphlets. It's easier for us to clear too!
